Leadership is like beauty, you don’t miss it, if you haven’t seen it.

But when you experience it, you are spell-bound. Your heart is full of passion and words fail to explain.

So, the next best stupid thing you do: ‘Trying to possess it’.

The process of possessing it, contaminates it beyond comprehension. It becomes dirty, burdensome, and waste of time and energy. And then you regret.

Leadership must be effortless, as natural as blossoming. Blossoming can take place only through understanding which invariably leads to awakening.

otherwise you will be misunderstood

explain the ecstasy of science to an art student
he will conclude that you are hallucianting

talk about the love of God to a Marxist
he will certify that you are a miserable creature

instruct the importance ethic to a business man
he will testify that you are incapable and jealous

preach ahimsa to a terrorist
he will sentence you to death

Inspired to Irritate

Gossiping about friends

Criticizing our enemies

Challenging the innocents

Ridiculing the ignorant

We are all certifiable sadists.

Tolerating nonsense

Putting up with arrogance

Massaging blown up egos

Accommodating outright animosity

We are all certifiable masochists.

Proving our competencies

Explaining our limitations

Regretting for the past

Anxious about what is next

We are all certifiable lunatics.

Then, why aren’t we locked up yet?

May be, there isn’t enough space at mental asylums!!!

Existential Anxiety

Existential anxiety manifests time and again

Without any reason

Without any warning.

It is an anxiety that is anxious to manifest

May be to remind us our mortality

May be to highlight our vulnerability

May be to torment our surreal happiness

May be to prove that we are utterly unwanted accidents.

Whatever the reason may be

Invariably it makes our life miserable.

It magnifies our failure

And our so called achievements become hollow and meaningless.

Relationships that made sense once upon a time

Overnight becomes mundane and burdensome transactions.

We want to run away

But to where? When? and How? Remains mysterious.

And for a change, the EGO, the I-maker is

Seriously and sincerely troubled.

Teaching

Life is a relay race; the duty of every generation is passing on one’s frustration, burdens, and failed aspiration to the next generation. Teaching is one of the effective ways of fulfilling this duty.

If you allow students to learn by themselves; they might learn better and become better. Since they are younger and smarter, they can’t be allowed to be better also. “Teaching” effectively serves this purpose.

“Writing” is the best way of numbing the brain cells of students. But we can’t force and make them to read our writings, so teaching is the best available option of numbing the brain cells.

Once upon a time, I was a student and suffered immeasurably, now it is my turn, which is why I love teaching.

Someone said that 80% of the intelligence is destroyed by the time one completes PhD. isn’t it a terrific news?

 MBA is the pinnacle of education system. Little of everything is taught. Once students are sufficiently confused, and prove their confusion, they are awarded MBA degree or diploma. Call it by any name, it doesn’t matter, beauty is it serves the mission of confusing the brighter minds.
