Bitter Is Parting But Sweet Are Memories

Every good thing must come to the end. Time has come to move on. I will be joining XLRI from the coming academic year onwards.

Life at XIMB was smooth and enriching, a place everyone would like to be, and it brings out your best and helps you to overcome the weakness.

Students are great, intelligent and disciplined. Faculties are friendly, understanding and thought provoking. And the staff is beyond adjectives.

Jamshedpur is just 7 hours away from Bhubaneswar  by train (if there is no chain-pulling and naxalites are on a vacation), 30 minutes by super jet (yet to be launched) and Zero seconds by thought (somewhere I have heard that the thought is faster than light).  Since thoughts create our world, moving out and moving in are mere illusions. My association will continue with XIMB.

May the Great Spirit (I mean God, not alcohol) guide us all….

Regards
George Joseph

    1. Hellow Abhilash,
Thanks for your kind words, I really enjoyed taking class for you all. In fact, I lost the opportunity to take more classes due to my other commitments.

  3. Dear Father, you are too generous with your choice of words- atleast about students. XIMB-ians are anything but Disciplined!! Won't comment a thing about greatness n all( i remember the blog related with Convo where the student was in the bubble-therefore at the time of separation such words figure more often!!) You take the marks n deadlines out of any assignment n check the discipline part!! wish you great luck!

  4. Hi Mohd Afzal,

    Very good observation.

But I do sincerely believe that our students are disciplined. I am not referring to submitting assignments and coming to the class on time, they are very trivial aspects of life, important thing regarding being disciplined is that I could rely on them, and trust them. The fellowship among XIMBians is remarkable, when some student is in trouble, others voluntarily come forward and help him or her. And this is the important part of being disciplined.

I do accept we do become sentimental while parting from a place and I am not an exception.

    See you, All the best
